The sound test lets you access the sounds of the entire game. To do so, move your cursor to the top-left corner of the current map (position 1,1). Level Select

This code lets you select any stage to go to. First off, go to the Load screen and highlight which save you want to use the code on. From there, press LEFT, RIGHT, START, then C. You can then choose which level you wish to go to.

Infinite Moves, Enemy Control, Infinite Spells

This code allows you to move as many times as you want during your turn, control your enemies during your turn, and have anybody cast any spell you want (even if they do not have the MP for it). During any battle, press the following buttons in order: UP, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, A, LEFT, DOWN, B, DOWN, RIGHT, A, B, DOWN, RIGHT, A
To verify if you've done it correctly, select an enemy troop and try to move them.

Secret Shop

Using this code will allow you to buy any item that can be bought at any part during the game. In the battle preparation screen, press A, B, A, B, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, START, B. This will open up the shop to all items that can be bought in the game.

Secret Shop - Buy ALL Items

Unlike the original Secret Shop code, this one allows you to purchase ALL items in the game (even ones that you cannot use like the Alhazard). To use this code, go to the battle preparation menu and press B, START, RIGHT, LEFT, DOWN, UP, B, A, B, A, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, START. As you can see, this will open up the shop to every obtainable item in the game.

Level Select

This trick is a bit complicated, but it does work:
Begin a game.
Press A to reduce the map.
Move the cursor to the upper left-hand side corner of the screen.
Move the cursor one space right and one space down.
Hold B until a scenario number appears.
Press Up and Down to pick a stage.
You will begin the stage using the commanders you had when you entered the code.

Sound Test

To access the sound test, follow the Level Select instructions but enter the code on the normal map (don't reduce it.)

Secret Character Class

I'm not sure how secret this is, but it's not mentioned in the manual. When a female Magic Knight reaches level 10, it can turn into a Ranger. The only problem is that a Ranger can't have soldiers of any sort. However, this isn't really a problem as she's EXTREMELY powerful.

Broad Sword, Leather Breast and Leather Boots - You start the game with these items.
Magic Sword - After Gumi, follow the Mercator-Ryuma road for two or three screens, then turn right into a side path. Make it up to the old guard's house and he'll give you the sword.

Ice Spikes - In the repeating area with the eye-in-the-hand platforms, check the hand on the lower left most hand. You'll find them.
Venus Stone - After defeating who/what I call Inferno, head up the ladder and you'll find the ring on the way.

Tree Warps

To get the tree warps (the giant trees that are an area in themselves) you must first help their father Tibor.

After defeating the thieves in Verla, head back to the crossroads and walk to the biggest tree. He'll ask you to help him out. Inside you'll encounter a lot of corpses and the ghosts they spit out. At the top is a giant knight, whom is considered a boss.

After he's defeated, Tibor will repay you by asking his children (whom are all twins) to take you to their twins. You must visit both trees before they will warp you to their twins.

In Level five, be on the lookout for the last power up pod that shows up. If you go too fast you'll miss it. That power up pod drops health power ups. Be careful though as the enemies can destroy this pod!

Rotate Title
